Firefighter Intercom Systems

Firefighter intercom systems provide voice communication for firefighter lifts with special requirements. Various loudspeaker and intercom configurations are available for the individual communication points – as hands-free stations, with handset, or with talk button, depending on the needs of the installation.

Firefighter Intercom Solutions

Telegärtner Elektronik‘s fire intercom systems provide a reliable communication connection for firefighter lifts with special requirements. They comply with the EN 81-72 standard and ensure immediate communication after the power supply is connected.

Main functions

  • Immediate talk readiness
    After the power supply to the central unit is connected, e.g., via a firefighter key switch.  
  • Flexible configuration
    Up to three hands-free units and, optionally, a telephone via a telephone adapter are possible.  
  • Adaptable control
    Optionally configurable control inputs for the talk/listen/hands-free selector switch.

Central Unit FSP 100

The central unit supplies power to the intercom stations and serves as the communication hub. It is installed in the machine room and the intercom stations are connected from there in a star configuration using a four wire shielded cable.
The unit provides connections for three intercom stations. It is powered by 230 V and is typically activated via a central fire service key switch.

Intercom Electronics FSP 100

For all hands free stations of a firefighter intercom system an intercom electronics module is required.
In addition to the basic unit there are variants with an additional loudspeaker, microphone and call button.

Telephone Splitter Versions A and B

If a standard telephone is required instead of a hands free station the intercom electronics module must be replaced with Telephone Splitter A.
If a telephone is to be used in parallel with an intercom electronics module this is achieved using Telephone Splitter B.
